Emmanuel Family & Early Childhood Daycare Center

Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center is an accredited, not-for-profit organization that has served the urban core community of Kansas City, MO since 1986. Since their initial enrollment of 42 children, the Center has grown to the current enrollment capacity of over 200 children. The Center provides outstanding early childcare services in a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty through empowering their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education.

The new Emmanuel Family and Child Development Center (EFCDC) is a 28,000 square-foot, $9 million facility at 4750 Prospect Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of the first new development projects – and by all accounts the first childhood center – to be built in the neighborhood in more than 25 years. The Center includes an on-site health clinic that will provide free care to children and their families. It is a thriving early childhood development center serving over 200 children. The newly built center will add an additional 175 more seats for students and is expected to hire approximately 67 more staff members.
