Metropolitan Community College Advanced Skills Institute

The Advanced Technical Skills Institute is the renovation of approximately 100,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space into classrooms, meeting spaces, student gathering areas and support services, and faculty office spaces. The purpose of the project was to provide a modernized space to relocate some of the Metropolitan Community College’s Business and Technology programs such as their Building Maintenance, Welding, HVAC, Industrial Technology, and Computer Integrated Machining and Manufacturing programs.

What We Did

Taliaferro & Browne served as the civil design consultant to Hollis & Miller Architects for the project. T&B provided civil engineering services including parking lot design, site grading, erosion control, retaining wall design and construction phase services.
