T&B Support for reStart, Inc.
As individuals and as a company, Taliaferro & Browne has always found ways to give back to the community in which we work and live, but in 2009, we wanted to focus more of our community support on reStart, Inc. — a dynamic, interfaith ministry serving homeless individuals and families in the downtown KC core.
As a company of engineers, planners, and surveyors, Taliaferro & Browne understands the importance of new beginnings — for neighborhoods, for buildings, and for Kansas Citians. Revitalizing our City's urban core means more than developing roads, bridges, housing, and office space: it means assisting individuals in a way that breathes life back into our struggling neighborhoods.

Since 1991, reStart has annually provided, on average, 80,000 bed nights of emergency and transitional shelter to approximately 2,000 homeless guests (men, women, and families). Read more about reStart's programs.
